Pre-Admitting: For the convenience of our patients, please call to schedule your pre-admitting lab tests, anesthesia evaluation, and other exams that are needed before your surgery or procedure. As soon as the doctor schedules your surgery, call 731-541-6919 to schedule your pre-admitting.

Pre-admitting is done at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital (whether your procedure is outpatient or requires an overnight stay). Pre-admitting at General Hospital is also done for West Tennessee Surgery Center patients.

The time it takes for pre-admitting will depend on your medical history. Please allow up to two hours for your pre-admitting.

Medical Records: West Tennessee Healthcare is committed to ensuring the privacy and security of patient health information. Valuables: For your protection, all jewelry and money (other than small change) should be left at home. Items such as eyeglasses, contact lenses, dentures, and hearing aids should be stored in a proper container when not in use.
